Tarabalo is famous for a cluster of hot springs, located in the Nayagarh district of Orissa. It is spread across over an area of 8 acres. Sulphur water of the springs having certain medicinal properties is believed to be useful for a long time treatment of skin diseases and also related to religious rituals.

It is located at a distance of 75 Kilometres from the capital city of Bhubaneswar. Tarabalo is a wonderful place for picnics and outings. There are about 70 spots in and around Tarabalo hot water spring, which emanate the hot water. It is the largest thermal field in Odisha and the second largest in India.

Besides the clusters of hot sulphur springs, Tarabalo is well known for the scenic beauty of the region. It is an ideal place for a holiday with its cool climate and beautiful natural vistas. A fair is organized every year on Maghasthami at goddess Keltheshwari Temple when 7000-8000 pilgrims visit this place.
