Lalitgiri is one among the three Udayagiri and Ratnagiri Buddhist complex named as Diamond Triangle of Jajpur. Lalitgiri, the earliest Buddhist sandstone hills, dates back to 1st century AD and is located in the Cuttack district or Orissa.
