Indravati River is originated near Thuamul-Rampur, which is 20 kms away from Nowrangpur, form at Khatiguda reservoir. The famous national park Indravati is named after this river that flows along the northern boundary of the national park. Indravati River is a tributary of the Godavari River which flows from east to east and forms the northern boundary of the park with Maharashtra.
