Balasore district is one of the major tourist destinations of Orissa, boasts of immense scenic beauty and a plethora of historical monuments and temples. Balasore, also called Baleswar, is a purposefully situated city in Orissa in the eastern parts of India. It also serves as the administrative headquarters of the district of Balasore.
